Contexto
[EN]
At the height of Brazil's coffee cycle, the farms of Vale do Café were responsible for nearly 90% of the country's exports. Not a region that participated in history — a region that drove it. The prosperity, the culture, the architecture, the political weight of an entire era: much of it grew here, in this soil, under this sky.
Generations later, the harvest continues. So does everything it carries.
To celebrate the region's Geographic Indication of Provenance, I developed the manifesto and brand narrative system for Vale do Café — a storytelling platform built not around certification, but around inheritance. The kind that doesn't transfer through documents. The kind passed down through hands that know exactly how deep to plant, exactly when to harvest, exactly how long to wait.
The narrative was built to hold the full weight of that legacy without turning it into a museum piece. This is not a story about what the Vale do Café once was. It is a story about what it never stopped being — a territory where excellence isn't a standard to be achieved, but a tradition too deeply rooted to abandon.
Through a voice that moves between past and present without losing its footing in either, the project repositioned the Geographic Indication as something greater than a seal of origin. An empire, quiet and enduring. A name that the land itself has spent centuries earning.
